We are so excited to be adding this Vintage section to the website! We want to take a minute to explain what brought this section on. Most of you know the Shore family because of our Patriarch. Jim Shore has created unique and timeless figurines making him a household name. Our Matriarch, Jan, is also very talented and has always had a passion to create. Her focus? You guessed it! Vintage! This aesthetic can be seen in her fabric designs she's made for Benartex. Jan's love of vintage combined with her talents of sewing and design and led us to this next step.

Embroideries! Doilies! Linens! Oh my!

Jan and her daughter Jynifer have spent the last few years working together. A lot of that time they've spent on the road traveling the country to quilt shows. They're introducing the Jan and Jim Shore fabric lines. The rest of their time has been spent designing new fabric lines, making new patterns and a whole lot of creating.

Quilts! Notions! Tablecloths! Oh my!

The apple doesn't fall far from the tree! Or so they say. Like her Mom, Jynifer has an old-world style. Jynifer recently purchased an old farmhouse in South Carolina. She's determined to outfit the entire home only using vintage and/or handmade items. Jan and Jyn will be documenting their progress on YouTube and will share those links here. They'll take you behind the scenes to show others how to create something new out of something old. They have collected a large and unique selection of vintage items. Some of which will be available below. 

Beads! Ephemera! Trim! Oh my!

Jan loves to work with fabric, ephemera, laces, trim and so much more. Out of these items, she creates clothes, journals, collages, furniture and the list goes on. Those will be some of the How To videos we will post here and on Youtube. Also, Jynifer plans on taking us behind the scenes with her dad showing us their real life. She's said her family could be a TV show so she's going to be candid with us and show some of the good, the bad and the not so ugly. LOL!
